Heavy Electric Sounds

by Heavy Relic

supported by
Lute FP
Lute FP thumbnail
Lute FP Instrumental guitar shredding for those who want to love Earthless, but need a little more than endless noodling to hold their attention.

The bass-driven rhythm is what makes this work- it’s almost a trip-hop bottom end, but becomes in-your-face rock when paired with the crunchy rhythm guitar. The soaring guitar solos might be accused of being noodly at times, but things change up enough that it remains tasteful rather than distracting.

Not sure how I feel about the keyboards yet.

StoneFly Effects

StoneFly Effects Electric Heavy Sounds is what lysergic dreams are made of! The drum and bass section craft groovy textures colliding with ethereal ambiances set by an inspired keyboard while psychedelic/heavy blues riffage explodes in our consciousness like dying supernovas. If you like instrumental heavy trip, you got to buy your ticket for this hallucinatory cruise. Favorite track: Accidental Short Circuit.

about

Heavy Relic England, UK

Heavy, psychedelic, instrumental jams.
Think of music along the lines of bands such as Earthless, Samsara Blues Experiment, Tia Carrera and even the sprawling jams that used to be a feature of late-80’s Bevis Frond, Ozric Tentacles or Tangle Edge. Throw in a dash of Sabbath and Hawkwind, then make it heavier. ... more
